ARTS RAPID CITY IS DEVOTED TO LINKING AUDIENCES TO ARTS AND CULTURE HAPPENINGS IN RAPID CITY SOUTH DAKOTA BY PROMOTING ART POWERED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT; BUILDING CONNECTIONS FOR THE CREATIVE INDUSTRIES THAT MAKE OUR REGION A DESIRABLE PLACE TO LIVE, WORK, AND VISIT; ENCOURAGING COLLABORATION AND PROVIDING MARKETING AND EDUCATIONAL TOOLS TO HELP CREATIVES STRENGTHEN THE VALUE OF THE ARTS IN EVERYONE'S LIVES; AND RESPONDING TO OUR COMMUNITY'S ARTS AND CULTURE NEEDS.

ARTS RAPID CITY MAINTAINS AN EXTENSIVE WEBSITE THAT INCLUDES LISTINGS OF ART AND CULTURAL EVENTS IN THE COMMUNITY, DIRECTORIES OF ART RELATED ORGANIZATIONS AND BUSINESSES, EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, AND CLASSIFIED ADS THAT LINK ARTISTS TO COMMUNITY NEEDS. SOCIAL MEDIA TOOLS HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED TO PROMOTE THE ARTS IN RAPID CITY. MARKETING OF ARTS EVENTS IN THE COMMUNITY HAS MOVED BEYOND LOOKING AT ARTISTIC EFFORTS INDIVIDUALLY, AND IS LEVERAGING STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS TO ENHANCE THE SUCCESS AND PUBLIC VALUE OF ARTS.
