OUR MISSION IS TO ASSIST ACTIVE DUTY AND HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WITH THIER NEEDS IN A DIGNIFIED AND HONORABLE MANNER. WE PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS TO THESE INDIVIDUALS ON A NO FEE BASIS. THE RESALE STORE, FREE CAKES FOR KIDS BIRTHDAYS, OPERATION CAKE DROP AND OTHERS.

OPERATION FEED OUR HEROS PROVIDES BOTH A FOOD PANTRY AND HOT MEALS FOR VETERANS WHO CAN NOT AFFORD TO PAY FOR GROCERIES FOR THIER FAMILIES OR ARE IN HEED OF A HOT MEAL. THE FOOD PANTRY IS OPEN EVERY THURSDAY AND SATURDAY FOM 10AM TILL 5PM. THIS IS A JOINT EFFORT BETWEEN THE CAPILLARY FOOD BANK OF AUSTIN AND OPERATION PHANTOM SUPPORT. APPROXIMATELY 3000 POUNDS OF FOOD IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE TO ELIGIBLE VETERANS AND ACTIVE DUTY SOLDIERS IN THE FORT HOOD METROPOLOTIN AREA. ON AVERAGE 600 INDIVIDUALS ARE ASSISTED EACH MONTH AND 60000 POUNDS OF FOOD WAS DISTRIBUTED LAST YEAR. THE NEED IS GROWING AND INCREADED FOOD AND FUNDING WILL BE NEEDED IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
OPERATION PHANTON SUPPORT RETAIL STORE IS OPERATED AS A 990T THAT FUNNELS THE REVENUE TO THE ORGANIZATION THROUGH MONTHLY DUES COLLECTED THROUGH INTERNET DONATIONS AND RESALE INCOME FROM THE STORE. THIS REVENUE STREAM IS USED TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FOOD TO THE FOOD PANTRY AND TO PROVIDE PAYROLL AND OFFICE SUPPORT TO THE ORGANIZATION AS A WHOLE. THE REVENUE GENERATED BY THE RETAIL STORE PAYS ALL ASSOCIATED EXPENSES OF THE PARENT ORGANIZATION AND DONATES ALL ADDITIONAL PROCEEDS DIRECTLY TO OPERATION PHANTOM SUPPORT. THESE ADDITIONAL REVENUES PROVIDE THE FUNDING FOR SEVERAL ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS THAT GENERATE NO INCOME.
