SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES TEACH THE NEXT GENERATION NEW HABITS THAT CAN POSITIVELY AFFECT THE ENVIRONMENT, SUCH AS COMPOSTING, REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE, AND MINDFUL DIETARY MODIFICATIONS. ANNUAL PROGRAM ACHIEVEMENTS INCLUDE DIVERTING 28,160 POUNDS OF FOOD WASTE, WHICH EQUALS 6 METRIC TONS OF CO2.


EDUCATION INITIATIVES ARE THE CORNERSTONE OF EATS' MISSION BECAUSE, WITH KNOWLEDGE, INDIVIDUALS BECOME EMPOWERED. ANNUAL PROGRAM ACHIEVEMENTS INCLUDE TEACHING MORE THAN 328 CLASSES OF EDIBLE EDUCATION; INTRODUCING AND ENCOURAGING HEALTHY EATING HABITS TO MORE THAN 2,700 CHILDREN IN OUR COMMUNITY.


FOOD SECURITY INITIATIVES DELIVER ESSENTIAL MEAL SERVICES TO QUALIFYING COMMUNITY MEMBERS, ADDRESSING THEIR BASIC NEEDS ABOVE ALL ELSE. ANNUAL PROGRAM ACHIEVEMENTS INCLUDE PROVIDING MORE THAN 13,000 BACKPACK MEALS TO CHILDREN FACING FOOD INSECURITY IN OUR LOCAL SCHOOLS.
