THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE, RELIGIOUS, EDUCATION AND SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES TO PROVIDE DIVERSE PROGRAMS FOR CULTURAL ENRICHMENT AND ARTS-IN-EDUCATION THROUGH THE PERFORMING ARTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITIES IN AND ADJACENT TO NORTHERN WESTCHESTER AND SOUTHERN PUTNAM COUNTIES IN NEW YORK STATE.

"ALMOST QUEEN"ALMOST QUEEN IS A MUSICAL GROUP DEDICATED TO INTRODUCING COMMUNITIES TO THE MUSIC OF THE ICONIC GROUP "QUEEN", AND TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR AIDS.


"JB SMOOVE"JB SMOOVE IS A MULTI-TALENTED WRITER, COMEDIAN AND ACOTR WHO BRINGS A HILARIOUS AND FRESH PERSPECTIVE ON THE THE ENTERTAINMENT WORLD TO A DIVERSE AUDIENCE.


"BEATLE V. STONES"BEATLES V. STONES PROVIDES A FUN NIGHT FOR FAMILIES BY HIGHLIGHTING AND EXPLORING THE MUSIC OF TWO ICONIC MUSICAL GROUPS.


PARAMOUNT HUDSON VALLEY ARTS 2020 FORM 990 PART III - DESCRIPTION OF OTHER EXEMPT PURPOSE ACCOMPLISHMENTS: AMONG OVER 50 DIFFERENT SHOWS AND PROGRAMS, THE MOST NOTABLE OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDED THEATERWORKSUSA'S PRODUCTION OF PETER PAN, BASED ON JOHN CAIRD AND TREVOR NUNN'S 1982 ADAPTATION, WHICH WAS ORIGINALLY DEVELOPED FOR LONDON'S ROYAL SHAKESPEARE COMPANY, AS WELL AS FIRE IN A DARK HOUSE, NUTCRACKER SHORT AND SWEET, DRAMATIST GUILD, GIRL SCOUTS AWARDS, PAUL ROBSON PLAYS. PHV ALSO HOSTS THE PEEKSKILL FILM FESTIVAL (PFF) THAT SCREENS A FIRST-RATE MIX OF FEATURES, SHORTS, DOCUMENTARIES, AND ANIMATION. IN ADDITION TO SHOWCASING THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST IN INDIE FILM, THE PFF PROVIDE WORKSHOPS WITH EMMY-AWARD WINNING ARTISTS AND FILMMAKERS, PARTIES, PANEL DISCUSSIONS, AND AN ENTIRE DAY DEDICATED TO STUDENT FILM.ON MARCH 22, 2020, PHVA WAS CLOSED DUE TO THE "NEW YORK STATE ON PAUSE" EXECUTIVE ORDER, AND SUSPENDED THEIR OPERATIONS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THE ORGANIZATION RESUMED IT'S ACTIVITIES AT THE END OF 2021.
