THE ALLIANCE OF TRIBAL COALITIONS TO END VIOLENCE WORKS TO ADVANCE TRIBAL SOVEREIGNTY AND ENHANCE THE SAFETY OF AMERICAN INDIAN AND ALASKA NATIVE WOMEN BY PROVIDING SUPPORT TO TRIBAL COALITIONS TO TRIBAL COALITIONS AND TRIBAL COMMUNITIES IN THEIR EFFORTS TO ADDRESS EQUAL JUSTICE FOR SURVIVORS OF VIOLENCE.

TRAIBAL COALITION AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE IS AWARDED THROUGH THE OFFICE ON VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AS THE COMPREHENSIVE TA PROVIDER FOR THE 19 TRIBAL COALITION WITH THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING TRAINING INSTITUTE FOR TRIBAL COALITION LEADERS, BOARD, AND OUTREACH PERSONNEL.


SMALL INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMS TO ENHANCE INTERTRIBAL COALITIONS.


THE TIDES FOUNDATION PROJECT SUPPORTED A PART-TIME STAFF POSITION; THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CAPACITY BUILDING TEAM TO COORDINATE OUTREACH TO INDIGENOUS PEOPLES AND ORGANIZATIONS IN HAWAII, NEW ZEALAND, AND AUSTRALIA; BOARD MEMBERS TRAVEL AND MEETINGS COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ALLIANCE ANNUAL MEETING; AND A MULTI-WAY STRATEGIC PLANNING SESSION OF THE BOARD MEETING TO IDENTIFY SHORT AND LONG-TERM GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION.
