THE INNOVATION PROJECT BRINGS TOGETHER FORWARD-THINKING NORTH CAROLINA SCHOOL DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENTS AND THEIR TEAMS TO FIND AND IMPLEMENT INNOVATIVE AND TRANSFORMATIVE PRACTICES IN PUBLIC EDUCATION SO THAT STUDENTS AND THEIR COMMUNITIES CAN THRIVE. OUR PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FOCUSED ON SUPPORTING OUR MEMBER DISTRICTS IN MOVING FROM THE COVID-19 CRISIS TO LEARNING RECOVERY AND ACCELERATION AND THE TRANSFORMATION OF DISTRICT SYSTEMS AND OPERATIONS TO BETTER SERVE STUDENTS AND FAMILIES. DURING THIS PROGRAM YEAR, WE CONTINUED CONNECTING MEMBER DISTRICTS, OPERATING PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITIES FOR SUPERINTENDENTS AND LEADERS OF INNOVATION IN OUR MEMBER DISTRICTS, AND LEADING AN INTERDISTRICT NETWORK FOCUSED ON TRANSFORMATION IN EARLY LEARNING.
