PROGRAMMATIC SUCCESSES IN FY2021 THAT ACC-US HELPED TO SUPPORT INCLUDE: AFRICAN CONSERVATION CENTRE (ACC) ACC-US CONTINUED TO HELP FUND ACC CONSERVATION AND OPERATING PROGRAMS BY PROVIDING GENERAL OPERATING SUPPORT, FUNDS FOR A RESEARCH PROGRAM THAT AIMS TO CONSERVE ENDANGERED MAASAI GIRAFFE, SUPPORT OF MAASAI WOMEN IN CONSERVATION VIA ENTERPRISES, SUPPORT OF EDUCATION PROGRAMS, DEVELOPMENT OF NOONKOTIAK COMMUNTY RESOURCE CENTRE AND STRATEGIC PLANNING. AMBOSELI CONSERVATION PROGRAM (ACP) - ACP HAS MONITORED AND CONSERVED AMBOSELI'S WILDLIFE AND ITS ECOSYSTEM TO THE BENEFIT OF ITS PEOPLE FOR MORE THAN 50 YEARS. THANKS TO GENEROUS GRANTS FROM THE LIZ CLAIBORNE ART ORTENBERG FOUNDATION IN 2021, ACP HAS BEEN ENGAGED AT BOTH A NATIONAL AND COUNTY LEVEL IN STRATEGIES, LAND PLANNING AND POLICY DEVELOPMENTS THAT BEAR ON THE FUTURE OF WILDLIFE IN KENYA. LAND & LIFE FOUNDATION (LLF) - ACC-US SUPPORTED LLF'S EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE INTER-GENERATIONAL KNOWLEDGE SHARING, INNOVATIVE THINKING, AND PROACTIVE WILDLIFE CONSERVATION. LLF SUPPORTED WATER CATCHMENT PROJECTS AT SCHOOLS, PROVIDED TUITION FOR GIRLS TO ATTEND PRIMARY SCHOOL AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS TO LEARN ABOUT WILDLIFE AND CONSERVATION. SOUTH RIFT ASSOCIATION OF LANDOWNERS (SORALO) - THANKS TO A GENEROUS GRANT FROM THE LIZ CLAIBORNE ART ORTENBERG FOUNDATION, ACC-US SUPPORTED SORALO, A MAASAI LANDOWNER GROUP, WITH GENERAL OPERATING FUNDS THAT HELPED THEM INCREASE THEIR STAFF, DEVELOP NEW PROJECTS AND CONTINUE TO BUILD PROGRAMS INCLUDING THEIR REBUILDING THE PRIDE (RTP) LION CONSERVATION PROGRAM.
