PROVEG INTERNATIONAL WAS ACTIVE IN OUTREACH, ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, AND SERVICE. DURING 2021, WE PROVIDED EXTENSIVE INFORMATION ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF PLANT-BASED EATING AND HOW TO IMPROVE PLANT-BASED ADVOCACY. ALONG WITH CONDUCTING ONLINE TRAININGS, WE PROVIDED GRANTS TO INTERNATIONAL GROUPS, SO THEY MAY BETTER IMPROVE ADVOCACY IN THEIR REGIONS AND BEYOND. FOR 2021 AND THROUGH THE GRANTS PROGRAM, WE EXECUTED 6 TRAININGS, DISTRIBUTED 98 GRANTS, HELPED SAVE UP TO 10 MILLION LAND ANIMALS' LIVES, RECEIVED COMMITMENTS TO FEWER ANIMAL DISHES SERVED IN INSTITUTIONS AND CORPORATIONS THAT WOULD AFFECT 344 MILLION PEOPLE, RECEIVED 34 MILLION INDIVIDUAL COMMITMENTS TO FEWER ANIMAL DISHES THROUGH OUR VEGAN CHALLENGES, EXPOSED PLANT- BASED MESSAGES TO OVER 12 MILLION PEOPLE, REPLACED ANIMAL-BASED OR INCREASED PLANT-BASED PRODUCTS OVER 40,000 CORPORATIONS AND INSTITUTIONS, HAD 126,000 INDIVIDUALS WHO PARTICIPATED IN A PLANT-BASED CHALLENGE, REACHED OVER 60,000 PEOPLE AT VARIOUS EVENTS, TRAINED OVER 900 PROFESSIONAL CHEFS IN PLANT-BASED CULINARY ARTS, SUPPORTED AND PARTICIPATED IN 2 ACADEMIC RESEARCHES THAT CONTRIBUTED TO REDUCTION AND ELIMINATION OF ANIMAL CONSUMPTION, AND SUPPORTED 12 POLICIES AND LEGISLATIONS THAT CONTRIBUTED TO REDUCTION AND ELIMINATION OF ANIMAL CONSUMPTION.
