THE FOUNDATION IDENTIFIES APPROPRIATE DONATION SOURCES, PROMOTES INTEREST IN AND PROVIDES A CHANNEL FOR MONETARY OR OTHER MATERIAL SUPPORT FOR STARBASE. A SECONDARY ACTIVITY OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO IDENTIFY AND PRIORITIZE SCHOOLS ATTENDING STARBASE WHO LACK SUFFICIENT TRANSPORTATION FUNDING, THE ONLY DIRECT EXPENSE TO THESE SCHOOLS FOR SUCH ATTENDANCE, AND WORK WITH THE ADMINISTRATION AND/OR FOUNDATION BOARDS OF SUCH SCHOOLS TO APPROPRIATE PARTIAL, WHOLE OR MATCHING FUNDS FOR THIS SOLE SPECIFIC PURPOSE. THE FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDES INDIRECT SUPPORT OF STARBASE BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL AND LOGISTICAL SUPPORT OF STARBASE STAFF, THROUGH THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE, AS AUTHORIZED AND PERMITTED BY LAWS OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA AND GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE REGULATIONS.
