QUASIMONDO CONNECTED TO THE COMMUNITY WITH VIRTUAL PERFORMANCES AND OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES IN 2021. IN COLLABORATION WITH THE VILLARD AVENUE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, QUASIMONDO PRESENTED THE 1ST ANNUAL VILLARD VIBES SUMMER CONCERT SERIES AT THEIR FACILITY, THE ARTHAUS, IN OLD NORTH MILWAUKEE. THE 6-WEEK SERIES OF FREE CONCERTS FEATURED LOCAL MUSICIANS, ARTISANS, AND VISUAL ARTISTS, AND CONNECTED OVER 650 COMMUNITY MEMBERS THROUGH ACCESSIBLE AND INSPIRING ARTS PROGRAMMING. IN ADDITION, QUASIMONDO CONTINUES TO WORK TRANSFORMING THE HISTORIC NORTH MILWAUKEE VILLAGE HALL AND FIRE STATION INTO THE NORTH MILWAUKEE ARTHAUS, A CENTER FOR ART AND EDUCATION ON MILWAUKEE'S NORTHWEST SIDE.
QUASIMONDO PRESENTED "YOUAREHEREYOUARE", A WORLD PREMIERE ONLINE PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE EXAMINING ISOLATION AND TOGETHERNESS THROUGH THE PANDEMIC. THE INTERACTIVE PRODUCTION RAN FOR 4 PERFORMANCES AND WAS ATTENDED BY 126 PARTICIPANTS.
QUASIMONDO ADAPTED THEIR ORIGINAL DANCE THEATRE PERFORMANCE, "MRS. WRIGHTS", TO REACH NEW ONLINE AUDIENCES.
