WE ARE A NON-PROFIT (501C3) COMMUNITY CENTER DELIVERING SQUASH, WELLNESS, AND EDUCATION IN PORTLAND, ME. WE SEEK TO UNITE NEIGHBORS OF ALL AGES AND BACKGROUNDS AND TO FULLY SUPPORT YOUTH ON THEIR JOURNEYS FROM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL INTO ADULTHOOD. WE BELIEVE THAT A COMMITMENT TO ACCESS, EQUITY, AND INTEGRATION MAKES EVERY COMMUNITY STRONGER.

JUNIOR SQUASH LEAGUE: DURING 2021, THE JUNIOR SQUASH LEAGUE SERVED 70 STUDENTS FROM SIXTH GRADE TO TWELFTH GRADE (91% ATTENDANCE). STUDENTS VISITED THE FACILITY THREE TIMES PER WEEK FOR SQUASH, WELLNESS, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, AND OPTIONAL ACADEMIC SUPPORT. MORE THAN HALF OF JUNIOR SQUASH LEAGUE STUDENTS QUALIFIED FOR FULL-SCHOLARSHIPS. THE JUNIOR SQUASH LEAGUE SERVED STUDENTS EVERY WEEK DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR.
RALLY PORTLAND: IN 2021, RALLY PORTLAND WORKED WITH 41 STUDENTS (90% ATTENDANCE). RALLY PORTLAND STUDENTS MAKE A LONG-TERM COMMITMENT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE JUNIOR SQUASH LEAGUE, PLUS INDIVIDUALIZED ACADEMIC SUPPORT, ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL EMOTIONAL TRACKING, MENTORSHIP, AND WEEKEND TRAVEL TO TOURNAMENTS, COLLEGES, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE OUTINGS.
SUMMER CAMP: DURING 2021, PCS SUMMER CAMPS SERVED 74 STUDENTS FROM THIRD GRADE TO TWELFTH GRADE. SUMMER CAMP STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN ONE-WEEK CAMPS, WHICH INLCUDED SQUASH DURING THE MORNINGS AND EXCURSIONS AROUND PORTLAND AND CASCO BAY IN THE AFTERNOONS. PCS ALSO SENT 35 STUDENTS TO SUMMER CAMPS AT OTHER ORGANIZATIONS.
