PORTLAND COMMUNITY SQUASH (PCS) AIMS TO BUILD AN ACCESSIBLE COMMUNITY CENTER THAT HOLISTICALLY SUPPORTS AND UNITES ITS MEMBERS. WE ENVISION A COMMUNITY WITH ENOUGH SOCIAL AND HUMAN CAPITAL TO OVERCOME EVERCHANGING SOCIETAL CHALLENGES AND PROSPER.

RALLY PORTLAND: IN 2023, RALLY PORTLAND WORKED WITH 101 STUDENTS. RALLY PORTLAND STUDENTS MAKE A LONG-TERM COMMITMENT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE JUNIOR SQUASH LEAGUE, PLUS INDIVIDUALIZED ACADEMIC SUPPORT, ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL EMOTIONAL TRACKING, MENTORSHIP, AND WEEKEND TRAVEL TO TOURNAMENTS, COLLEGES, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE OUTINGS.


MEMBERSHIP


SUMMER CAMP: DURING 2023, PCS SUMMER CAMPS SERVED 87 STUDENTS FROM THIRD GRADE TO TWELFTH GRADE, INCLUDING STUDENTS SENT TO SUMMER CAMPS AT OTHER ORGANIZATIONS. SUMMER CAMP STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN ONE-WEEK CAMPS, WHICH INCLUDED SQUASH DURING THE MORNINGS AND EXCURSIONS AROUND PORTLAND AND CASCO BAY IN THE AFTERNOONS.
