PENNYWISE FOUNDATION PROVIDED GRANTS TO EXCEPTIONAL CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS WORKING IN THE FIELDS OF VOTING RIGHTS, REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH, HYGIENIC SANITATION, CLEAN WATER ACCESS, AND ACCESS TO RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT. THROUGH RECOGNIZED U.S. NONPROFITS, OUR GRANTEES OFFERED SERVICES IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES IN THE U.S. AS WELL AS IN HAITI, LATIN AMERICA, AND ZAMBIA.
OUR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM CONTINUED TO OVERSEE THE AMAZON HOPE COLLECTIVE WHICH CONTINUED TO SUPPORT RESPONSES TO COVID-19 IN THE SOUTHERN AMAZON AND BEGAN TO REFOCUS ON CULTURAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION INITIATIVES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE KUIKURO INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY. THE PENNYWISE URGENT RESPONSE PROGRAM LEVERAGED RESOURCES THAT SUPPORTED RESPONSES BY OUR ESTABLISHED GRANTEE PARTNER, SOIL, TO A DEVASTATING EARTHQUAKE IN HAITI.
