Part 3
TEAMWORK AFRICA'S SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM, STARFISH KIDS, PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 85 STUDENTS IN LIBERIA. THE SCHOLARSHIP INCLUDES REGISTRATION, TUITION, AND SCHOOL UNIFORM. ADDITIONALLY, FOR THOSE SCHOOLS THAT HAVE HOT LUNCH AVAILABLE, THE SCHOLARSHIP INCLUDED LUNCH EACH SCHOOL DAY
HABAKKUK'S WELLS. TEN TO 15 CLEAN WATER WELLS ARE REPAIRED EACH MONTH. EACH PUMP PROVIDES CLEAN WATER TO 250 TO 500 PEOPLE.
TEAMWORK AFRICA SENT THE HALVORSEN FAMILY TO LIBERIA AS MISSIONARIES. MARK AND PEGGY WORKED FULL TIME IN GREAT KING ACADEMY, A SCHOOL THAT TEAMWORK AFRICA ESTABLISHED AND BUILT. THEIR FAMILY RETURNED TO THE US IN JUNE, 2018. ADDITIONALLY, A TEAM WENT TO LIBERIA TO MONITOR THE WATER PROJECTS, INSPECT THE MEDICAL OUTREACH AND VISIT THE SCHOOLS OF THE STARFISH KIDS SCHOLARS.
