THE ORGANIZATION IS OPERATED TO FILL SEVERAL ROLES. THE BEAUTIFUL SHELTER BUILDING WILL BE USED FOR MANY NEEDED USES; A BACK UP SPACE FOR OTHER NEARBY SHELTERS, A QUARANTINE SPACE FOR TRANSPORTS, A ISOLATION SPACE FOR SICK CATS TO RECUPERATE AND A SPACE FOR OLDER FERAL CATS TO LIVE OUT THEIR REMAINING DAYS. THE ORGANIZATION WILL ALSO PROVIDE FUNDS TO ASSIST CAT OWNERS WITH EXPENSIVE FIP TREATMENTS.

THE ORGANIZATION SUFFERED THE LOSS OF ITS FOUNDER DANA ROFFLER IN DECEMBER 2022. REMAINING FRIENDS AND BOARD MEMBERS WISHED THE LOCATION TO REMAIN A PLACE TO HELP CATS. DURING 2023, THE SPACE WAS USED TO HOLD CATS IN QUANTINE FROM TRANSPORT UP UNTIL THEY WERE ADOPTED OUT BY ANOTHER RESCUE. THE SPACE WAS ALSO USED TO PROVIDE AN AREA FOR OVERFLOW CATS FROM ANOTHER RESCUE.
