LIVE4EVAN HONORS THE LIFE AND LEGACY OF EVAN GIRARDI. EVAN WAS SOMEONE WHO TRULY VALUED RELATIONSHIPS AND BUILDING LIFELONG CONNECTIONS. AS A TESTAMENT TO THE POWER OF RELATIONSHIPS AND THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING LOVED ONES BY YOUR SIDE, LIVE4EVAN PROVIDES FULLY-FURNISHED, TEMPORARY HOUSING, AT MINIMAL COST, TO FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH CONGENITAL HEART DISEASE ("CHD") WHO NEED TO TRAVEL INTO THE BOSTON AREA TO GET THEIR CHILD CRITICAL MEDICAL CARE AT BOSTON CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL AND TUFTS FLOATING HOSPITAL. L4E ENSURES THAT THE HOUSING IS STOCKED WITH ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES, AMENITIES AND PROVIDES A DEDICATED VOLUNTEER TO EACH GUEST FAMILY TO HELP NAVIGATE THE CITY OF BOSTON. THE ORGANIZATION OBTAINS MOST OF ITS SUPPORT FROM GIFTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC. IN THE PAST FOUR YEARS, LIVE4EVAN SUCCESSFULLY RAISED FUNDS FROM EVENTS SUCH AS THE RED TIE AFFAIR, RUN + FUN OCTOBERFEST, BOSTON MARATHON, AND THE FALMOUTH ROAD RACE.
