THE OLYMPIA SNOWE WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE RUNS PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE GUIDANCE TO HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS IN 10TH, 11TH, AND 12TH GRADES AND EQUIPS THEM WITH THE TOOLS THAT THEY NEED TO SUCCEED. THE PROGRAMS FOCUS ON DEVELOPING THE STUDENTS' VALUES, VOICE, AND VISION AND ARE INTENDED TO BUILD CONFIDENCE, RAISE ASPIRATIONS, AND ENABLE PARTICIPANTS TO BECOME MORE SUCCESSFUL IN THEIR LIVES AND CAREERS. THE INSTITUTE LAUNCHED A PILOT PROGRAM DURING 2015 AND HAS SINCE EXPANDED TO 37 SCHOOLS ACROSS MAINE. THE INSTITUTE CONTINUES TO DEVELOP AND RUN THESE PROGRAMS, ALONG WITH PROVIDING SUPPORT TO EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AT OTHER ORGANIZATIONS WITH COMPATIBLE MISSIONS.
