CATAPULT, OUR LONGEST-RUNNING PROGRAM, IS AN INVESTMENT OF CAPACITY BUILDING SUPPORT TO HELP CREATE MIGHTY CHANGES INSIDE THE INVESTEE NONPROFITS WITH WHICH WE WORK. THE INVESTMENT IS DETERMINED BY THE NEEDS OF THE SELECTED NONPROFIT. OUR SUPPORT CAN CONSIST OF CASH GRANTS, CONSULTING, TRAINING, RESOURCES, AND MORE. SINCE 2001, DOZENS OF NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS HAVE COMPLETED OUR CATAPULT PROGRAM. THE ENGAGEMENTS HAVE LASTED FROM 1-5 YEARS AND HAVE CONSISTED OF COUNTLESS VOLUNTEER CONSULTING HOURS AND 1.7 MILLION IN CASH GRANTS. IN 2022 WE SHIFTED OUR INVESTMENT FOCUS TO BIPOC LED ORGANIZATIONS WHO ALSO SERVE THOSE COMMUNITIES. WE WILL BE ADDING ADDITIONAL FOCUS AREAS ANNUALLY TO SUPPORT THOSE ORGANIZATIONS AND COMMUNITIES WHO ARE TRADITIONALLY UNDERFUNDED.
BOULDER COUNTY IS HOME TO THOUSANDS OF ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY IN COUNTLESS WAYS. TO ENSURE THAT LOCAL NONPROFITS HAVE THE HELP THEY NEED TO THRIVE, OUR PARTNER DRIVEN RESOURCE TEAMS SUPPORT SHORT-TERM CONSULTING PROJECTS THAT ARE TAILORED TO BOTH THE NONPROFITS NEEDS AND OUR PARTNERS AREAS OF EXPERTISE. OUR RESOURCE TEAMS INCLUDE BOARD DEVELOPMENT AND RECRUITMENT STRATEGIES, FUNDRAISING/DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, TECHNOLOGY, AND STRATEGIC PLANNING.
