THE ST. PETERSBURG ARTS ALLIANCE IS THE UMBRELLA ORGANIZATION SERVING THIS VITAL ARTS AND CULTURAL COMMUNITY. WE DO SO BY DRIVING ARTS-RELATED ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND FUNDING, ADVOCATING FOR ART AND ARTISTS, EDUCATING AT ALL LEVELS AND FACILITATING THE GROWTH OF OUR CITY OF THE ARTS.

COMMUNITY ARTS PROGRAMS INCLUDING THE SHINE MURAL ARTS FESTIVAL, AN ART PROJECT THAT ILLUMINATES THE POWER OF ART IN PUBLIC SPACES BY REVITALIZING AREAS, INSPIRING DIALOGUE AND UNITING OUR COMMUNITY WHILE CULTIVATING NEW STANDARDS OF ARTISTIC EXCELLENCE AND REFLECTING ST. PETE'S CREATIVE AND VIBRANT SPIRIT.
ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAMS INCLUDING ACE - ARTS FOR A COMPLETE EDUCATION - SUPPORTING ARTS EDUCATION IN-SCHOOL, AFTER-SCHOOL AND PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION; FUNDING FUTURES AND LIFT SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS GIVEN TO INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS AND TEACHING FACILITIES AND ART ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT CLASSES FOR STUDENTS WITH FINANCIAL NEEDS WHO ARE NOMINATED BY COMMUNITY ARTS ORGANIZATIONS; ARTS BUSINESS EDUCATION PROVIDING CONTINUING EDUCATION VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS, TEACHING THE BUSINESS SIDE TO ARTISTS AND ART RELATED ORGANIZATIONS.
WITH FUNDS RAISED LOCALLY THROUGH SPONSORSHIPS, SPAA PRODUCED A STUDIO, GALLERY, MUSEUM & PERFORMING ARTS GUIDE TO ASSIST FINDING LOCAL ART AND CREATIVE BUSINESS THROUGHOUT ST. PETERSBURG'S SEVEN ARTS DISTRICTS. THE FREE GUIDES ARE DISTRIBUTED AT MANY MUSEUMS, GALLERIES, HOTELS, RESTAURANTS, TOURISM SPOTS AND BUSINESSES AROUND TOWN.
ADDITIONAL PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE INCREASING THE SHINE PROGRAM PERSONNEL DUE TO INCREASING THE PROGRAM DUE TO MISSING THE PREVIOUS YEAR BECAUSE OF COVID 19. THE ANNUAL PRINCIPAL'S BREAKFAST WAS DELAYED DUE TO COVID 19 THE PREVIOUS YEAR SO IT WAS INCREASED IN ATTENDANCE TO INCLUDE MORE PARTICIPANTS AND MORE PROFESSIONAL PAID SPEAKERS.
