THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS EXCLUSIVLEY FOR FOSTERING NATIONAL AMATUER SPORTS COMPETITION AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. THE CORPORATION IS A NON-PROFIT, VOLUNTEER-RUN ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO PROMOTING, FACILITATING AND TEACHING THE SPORT OF BASEBALL TO YOUTH IN A SAFE, SUPPORTING ENVIRONMENT WITHIN THE COMMUNITY OF BELMONT, MASSACHUSETTS. THE SPORT OF BASEBALL TEACHES VALUABLE LESSONS IN SELF-CONFIDENCE, GOOD CITIZENSHIP, LOYALTY, COURGAE, HONESTY, GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, TEAMWORK, FAIR PLAY, RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY ADN COMPETITION. IT ALSO ENCOURAGES EXERCISE, HEALTH BENEFITS, FITNESS, AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF PHYSICAL SKILLS A ND COORDINATION. THE CORPORATION FURTHER COMBATS JUVENILE DELIQUENCY ADN LESSENS THE BURDENS OF GOVERNMENT
