THE TRUST'S EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO OPERATE A CAMP FOR YOUTH. GARDNER CAMP SERVED AN OVERALL TOTAL OF 1,998 YOUTH AND 733 ADULT MENTORS/CHAPERONES WITH OUTDOOR EDUCATION/CAMP ACTIVITIES THAT INCLUDED MENTORED YOUTH HUNTING, YOUTH SHOOTING SPORTS, YOUTH GROUP OUTDOOR EDUCATION, FIELD TRIPS, AND VIRTUAL LESSONS. VIRTUAL LESSONS WERE DELIVERED AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO FACE-TO-FACE PROGRAMS TO COMPLY WITH COVID-19 SAFETY REGULATIONS. MENTORED YOUTH HUNTING ACTIVITIES WERE HELD FROM SEPTEMBER TO DECEMBER WITH COVID-19 SAFETY PROCEDURES IN PLACE. A TOTAL OF 67 YOUTH AND 71 ADULT MENTORS PARTICIPATED IN 1 AND 2-DAY WATERFOWL, DOVE, OR DEER HUNTING EVENTS. THERE WERE 16 MENTORED YOUTH HUNTING EVENTS TOTAL. YOUTH SHOOTING SPORTS EVENTS WERE HELD AT GARDNER CAMP THROUGHOUT 2021. THESE EVENTS INCLUDED EVENTS WHERE YOUTH GAINED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS IN ARCHERY, AIR RIFLE, SHOTGUN SAFETY AND SHOOTING SKILLS. GARDNER CAMP SERVED 378 YOUTH AND 253 ADULT MENTORS WITH SHOOTING SPORTS ACTIVITIES IN 28 EVENTS. O
