THE TRUST'S EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO OPERATE A CAMP FOR YOUTH. GARDNER CAMP SERVED AN OVERALL TOTAL OF 529 YOUTH AND 463 ADULT MENTORS/CHAPERONES WITH OUTDOOR EDUCATION/CAMP ACTIVITIES THAT INCLUDED MENTORED YOUTH HUNTING, YOUTH SHOOTING SPORTS, AND YOUTH GROUP OUTDOOR EDUCATION. WE HOSTED A TOTAL OF 54 EVENTS IN 2022 AT GARDNER CAMP. MENTORED YOUTH HUNTING ACTIVITIES WERE HELD FROM SEPTEMBER TO DECEMBER. A TOTAL OF 68 YOUTH AND 64 ADULT MENTORS PARTICIPATED IN 1-DAY WATERFOWL AND DOVE EVENTS OR 2-DAY DEER HUNTING EVENTS. THERE WERE 19 MENTORED YOUTH HUNTING EVENTS TOTAL. YOUTH SHOOTING SPORTS EVENTS WERE HELD AT GARDNER CAMP THROUGHOUT 2022. THESE EVENTS INCLUDED A SAFE VENUE FOR YOUTH TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS IN ARCHERY, AIR RIFLES, SHOTGUN SAFETY, WING-SHOOTING, AND A .22 RIFLE EVENT. GARDNER CAMP SERVED 151 YOUTH AND 137 ADULT MENTORS WITH SHOOTING SPORTS ACTIVITIES IN 14 EVENTS. OUTDOOR EDUCATION EVENTS WERE HELD FOR YOUTH GROUPS THROUGHOUT 2022 THAT FOCUSED ON NATURE APPRECIATION
