TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY, COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES TO ASSIST FEMALE VETERANS IN TRANSITIONAL SUPPORT AND PREVENT HOMELESSNESS.

LVC PROVIDES A TRANSITIONAL HOME FOR HOMELESS WOMEN VETERANS WHERE THEY CAN LIVE UP TO A YEAR WHILE PARTICIPATING IN PROGRAMS FOR HEALING: INCLUDING SELF-ESTEEM CLASSES, NUTRITIONAL CLASSES, RESUME BUILDING, INTERVIEWING SKILLS, DRESSING FOR SUCCESS, COUNSELING, AND RESTORING RELATIONSHIPS. LVC ALSO SPONSORS FIVE EVENTS TO PROVIDE WOMEN VETERANS WITH RESOURCES THAT ADDRESS THEIR CONCERNS,AND TO HELP DEVELOPE RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER VETERANS.I. ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF LADY VETERANS CONNECT IN 2022: A. SERVICES PROVIDED: ARRANGED MILITARY FUNERAL AND BURIAL IN THE NATIONAL CEMETERY FOR A VETERAN INVOLVED IN THE PROGRAM NARCAN TRAINING FOR 6 VOLUNTEERS CPR AND STOP THE BLEED TRAINING FOR 6 VOLUNTEERS HOSTED A CAR SHOW HOSTED AN OUTDOOR CONCERT. 47 PEOPLE ATTENDED HOSTED OPEN HOUSE. INVITED COMMUNITY TO VISIT THE FACILITY AND HAVE A TOUR. 68 PEOPLE ATTENDED. PROVIDED FOR SUPPLIES TO FLOOD VICTIMS IN EASTERN KENTUCKY. SIX TRIPS IN TOTAL, PROVIDED SUPPLIES SUCH AS FOOD, WATER, CLEANING SUPPLIES, PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS, AND SHOVELS B. COUNSELING SERVICES PROVIDED: 71 VETERANS PRESENT AT THE DAY OF VALOR 6 VOLUNTEERS TRAINED IN SUICIDE PREVENTION 11 VETERANS ATTENDED WOMEN'S HEALTH REENGAGEMENT 16 VETERANS ATTENDED RETREATS 23 VETERANS ATTENDED LUNCH & LEARN 32 VETERANS ATTENDED MEETUPS 69 VETERANS ATTENDED WOMEN'S CONFERENCE 55 VETERANS ATTENDED WELLNESS FAIR 203 VETERANS WERE HONORED FOR THEIR SERVICE AT A GALA HOSTED
