Part 3 - Line 4a
GRANTMAKING:OUR PURPOSE IS TO UPLIFT CREATIVE SOLUTIONS TO CHALLENGES PEOPLE SEE IN THEIR OWN BACKYARDS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. OUR GRANTMAKING TAKES AN AGNOSTIC APPROACH WHEN IT COMES TO GEOGRAPHIC AREA OR OUR FOCUS AREAS, INCLUDING: ANIMAL RIGHTS AND WELFARE, EDUCATION AND ACCESS TO OPPORTUNITY, ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION AND REGENERATION, HEALTH AND WHOLENESS, HUMAN RIGHTS AND DIGNITY, ARTISTIC EXPRESSION AND CREATIVE COMMUNITIES, AND EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN AND GIRLS. THE POLLINATION PROJECT'S NETWORK OF GRANT ADVISORS--MOST OF WHOM PREVIOUSLY RECEIVED SUPPORT FOR THEIR OWN PROJECTS--AWARDS SEED GRANTS OF $1K OR LESS TO CHANGEMAKERS AROUND THE WORLD EVERYDAY. PROJECTS THAT ADDRESS GLOBAL EMERGENCIES ARE FUNDED THROUGH OUR RESILIENCE & RECOVERY FUND.
ANIMAL RIGHTS:THE POLLINATION PROJECT'S ANIMAL ADVOCACY GRANT-MAKING PROGRAM HAS SUPPORTED THE EFFORTS OF DEDICATED, GLOBAL ANIMAL ACTIVISTS. WE'VE SEEN CHANGEMAKERS CREATE NEW PROGRAM IDEAS THAT HAVE BECOME THE MOST UTILIZED RESOURCES IN THE FARMED ANIMAL PROTECTION MOVEMENT. HAVING BUILT PROGRAMS IN INDIA, BRAZIL, MEXICO AND CHINA WHILE FUNDING GRASSROOTS ADVOCACY EFFORTS IN EUROPE, AFRICA, NORTH AND SOUTH AMERICA, AUSTRALIA AND ASIA, THE POLLINATION PROJECT IS CONTINUING TO EXPAND ITS REACH AND IMPACT.
PHILANTHROPY:BELIEVING THAT REAL CHANGE IS BUILT UPON A SOLID FOUNDATION, WE INVEST IN INDIVIDUAL GRASSROOTS CHANGEMAKERS DEVELOPING SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS TO SOCIETAL PROBLEMS. THIS APPROACH IS NOT ONLY MORE EQUITABLE, IT'S MORE POWERFUL AS IT ALLOWS INDIVIDUALS WITH A DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF THEIR COMMUNITIES TO ELEVATE THE VOICES OF DIVERSE AND MARGINALIZED PEOPLE WHO ARE OFTEN OVERLOOKED.
GRANTEE SERVICES:HERATIVISM IS A POWERFUL MOVEMENT WE'VE CREATED THAT COMBINES ACTIVISM AND HEART. WE BELIEVE THAT INNER TRANSFORMATION IS A STARTING POINT TO SOCIAL CHANGE SO WE INVITE OUR CHANGEMAKERS TO CULTIVATE PRACTICES THAT SUSTAIN ACTIVISM AND BUILD GREATER PEACE, CONNECTION, AND KINDNESS BOTH WITHIN AS WELL AS IN THE WORLD. OUR GRANTEE CAPACITY-BUILDING PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO PROMOTE CONNECTION, COMMUNITY, RESILIENCE, AND COLLABORATION FOR GRASSROOTS CHANGEMAKERS AROUND THE WORLD.THROUGH TRAINING, PEER NETWORKING AND COACHING, WE HELP OUR GRANTEES TO SEE THEIR WORK THROUGH THE LENS OF SERVICE AS WE BUILD LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND EXPLORE SOCIAL, MATERIAL, CULTURAL, EXPERIENTIAL, SPIRITUAL AND FINANCIAL CAPITAL.
