FAIRTRADE AMERICA EMPLOYS BUSINESS OUTREACH AND NGO PARTNERSHIPS TO CREATE AN ENABLING ENVIRONMENT FOR FAIRTRADE AS PART OF AN OVERALL SUSTAINABLE PATTERN OF PRODUCTION AND CONSUMPTION THAT BENEFITS FARMERS, WORKERS, BUSINESSES, CONSUMERS, AND THE PLANET.
