THE TC OPEN CHARITABLE FOUNDATION WAS STARTED WITH THE SIMPLE CONCEPT OF GIVING BACK. IT HAS DONATED TO VARIOUS CHILDREN'S CHARITIES INCLUDING THE MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION, THE MIELE FOUNDATION AND THE SEMPER FI FUND KIDS CAMP.

Part 3
DONATION TO SEMPER FI KIDS CAMP, A FUNCTION OF THE SEMPER FI FOUNDATION. THE SEMPER FI KIDS CAMP PROVIDES SUPPORT, COUNSELING AND RECREATION FOR THE CHILDREN OF MEMBERS OF THE MILITARY WHO WERE WOUNDED OR KILLED IN ACTION. FUNDS AND EXPENSES FOR THIS GRANT WERE ACCRUED AND EXPENSED DURING 2017. THIS DONATION WAS FUNDED BY INCOME PRODUCED FROM 2017 EVENTS.
GRANT TO THE CAMERON MIELE FOUNDATION. THIS GRANT IS THE SMALLEST AND ONLY OTHER GRANT MADE DURING 2018. THE PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE SELF EXPLANATORY.
VAN FOR JOEY IS A CHARITY ORGANIZED TO PROVIDE A SPECIALLY EQUIPPED VAN TO TRANSPORT A CHILD SERIOUSLY DISABLED WITH CEREBRAL PALSY. TC OPEN FOUNDATION WAS ONE OF SEVERAL ORGANIZATIONS FUNDING THIS PROJECT. GRANT CHECK WAS WRITTEN TO KEYSTONE COACH WORKS, BETHEL PARK, PA.
THE FOUNDATION COMMITTED TO FUND A UNIQUE CUSTOM TREE HOUSE AND SUCCESSFULLY ACCOMPLISHED THIS COMMITMENT DURING 2018. THE TREE HOUSE PROVIDES A CAMP MEETING, COUNSELING AND RECREATION AREA FOR THE CHILDREN OF MILITARY WOUNDED OR KILLED. THIS PROJECT RESULTED IN SIGNIFICANT MEDIA COVERAGE FOR THE CAMP. BUILDING PROGRESS FROM START TO FINISH WAS NATIONALLY TELEVISED IN A DOCUMENTARY ON THE ANIMAL CHANNEL. THIS WAS A MAJOR UNDERTAKING FOR THE ORGANIZATION AND ITS MANY VOLUNTEERS AND SUPPORTERS.
