THE MISSION OF MISSOULA YOUTH FOOTBALL (MYF) IS TO HAVE A POSITIVE INFLUENCE ON THE LIVES OF CHILDREN BY PROVIDING A SAFE, EXCITING, AND ENRICHING OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN THE GAME OF FOOTBALL.

MISSOULA YOUTH FOOTBALL IS A NON-PROFIT 501C3 ORGANIZATION THAT RELIES HEAVILY UPON THE GOODWILL OF OUR IMMEDIATE AND EXTENDED COMMUNITY, WHICH INCLUDES USA FOOTBALL. MYF ONLY CHARGES TACKLE FAMILIES $175 FOR THE FIRST CHILD ($200 AFTER MAY, $250 AFTER JUNE, AND $300 AFTER JULY) AND $150/$175 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL CHILD MEMBERSHIP, BUT OUR ACTUAL COSTS TO EQUIPMENT, INSURE AND PROVIDE PLAYERS WITH TOP-NOTCHED FACILITIES FOR GAMEPLAY IS $275 PER PLAYER. THAT MEANS MYF NEEDS TO RAISE BETWEEN $100 AND $175 PER PLAYER ON TOP OF WHAT FAMILIES PAY FOR NEW EQUIPMENT. FLEX FAMILIES PAY $150 PER PLAYER.MYF ALSO LENDS EQUIPMENT BACK TO BE RECONDITIONED AND CERTIFIED EACH YEAR AT A CONSIDERABLE COST TO THE LEAGUE. WE SUCCESSFULLY RAISED ENOUGH FUNDS IN 2021 TO MEET OUR PROGRAM FUNDING NEEDS. IN 2021, WE REGISTERED 400 TACKLE FOOTBALL PLAYERS, GRADES 5-8 AND 193 FLEX FOOTBALL PLAYERS, GRADE 1-4. WITH OVER 28 FOOTBALL TEAMS.
