GBC-EDUCATION'S GLOBAL EDUCATION PROGRAM ENCOMPASSES FOUR KEY INITIATIVES: DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION; ENVIRONMENT, SOCIAL, AND GOVERNMENT (ESG) AND SOCIAL IMPACT; YOUTH SKILLS DEVELOPMENT; AND HUMANITARIAN RELIEF. THE REPORT OFFERED AN EVIDENCE-LED HOW-TO GUIDE FOR BUSINESSES ON IMPROVING THEIR EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EMPLOYMENT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. THE REPORT WAS RELEASED AT THE GLOBAL DISABILITY SUMMIT IN OSLO, THE BIGGEST WORLDWIDE EVENT DEDICATED TO PROMOTING DISABILITY RIGHTS, IN FEBRUARY 2022.ENVIRONMENT, SOCIAL, AND GOVERNMENT (ESG) AND SOCIAL IMPACT: THE ORGANIZATION ENGAGED WITH LEADERS OF THE GLOBAL BUSINESS COMMUNITY TO INCORPORATE SUSTAINABLE AND SCALABLE INVESTMENTS IN EDUCATION INTO THEIR ESG AND SOCIAL IMPACT PRACTICES; BUILD A STRONGER, MORE INFORMED, AND IMPACTFUL NETWORK OF BUSINESSES; CONSOLIDATE BEST PRACTICES, GENERATE, AND SHARE EVIDENCE-BASED TOOLS; AND IMPROVE ENGAGEMENT BETWEEN THE PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SECTORS TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OPPORTUNITY. AN ACTIVE NETWORK OF GLOBAL CEOS/EXECUTIVES AND BUSINESS LEADERS, EDUCATION EXPERTS, SOCIAL IMPACT INNOVATORS, AND IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALISTS WAS FORMED TO SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATION'S WORK TO HELP SHAPE THE DIRECTION OF A NEW SET OF SOCIAL IMPACT TOOLS AND RESOURCES. THE ORGANIZATION PUBLISHED A REPORT, AN UNTAPPED FORCE FOR GLOBAL EDUCATION: AN EXPLORATION OF SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES, HIGHLIGHTING THE ROLE SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES PLAY IN SUPPORTING EDUCATION AND THE INNOVATIVE WAYS IN WHICH THEY ARE ENGAGING THEIR CONSUMERS IN THE CAUSE AND HELD A GLOBAL WEBINAR TO DISCUSS THE REPORT'S FINDINGS. THE EDUCATION FINANCE PLAYBOOK WAS RELEASED; IT WAS A LANDMARK RESOURCE MAKING THE CASE FOR INNOVATIVE FINANCING TO SUPPORT EDUCATION AND PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY TO MAKE AN IMPACT. THE REPORTS WERE SUPPORTED BY ONLINE AND OFFLINE EVENTS, INCLUDING THE KEY CONVERSATION SERIES, FEATURING BUSINESS LEADERS ALONGSIDE SUBJECT-MATTER EXPERTS, YOUTH INNOVATORS, AND CAMPAIGNERS FOCUSED ON SETTING THE AGENDA FOR SOCIAL IMPACT. DINNER EVENT AT THE REWIRED SUMMIT IN DUBAI, BRINGING TOGETHER BUSINESS LEADERS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE TO DISCUSS THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FRAMEWORK FOR ACTION FOR BUSINESSES SUPPORTING EDUCATION, WAS CO-HOSTED IN COLLABORATION WITH PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS.YOUTH SKILLS DEVELOPMENT: THE ORGANIZATION DEVELOPED TARGETED PROGRAMS AND REPORTS IN KEY WORLD REGIONS AND COUNTRIES, PROVIDING ACTIONABLE ANALYSIS FOR POLICYMAKERS, EDUCATORS, AND THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY TO ADDRESS YOUTH SKILLS CRISIS WITH THE URGENCY IT DESERVES AND TO PROMOTE A NEW, COLLABORATIVE APPROACH BETWEEN INDUSTRY LEADERS, YOUTH, COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS, AND CITY GOVERNMENTS. THE ORGANIZATION DEVELOPED AN AI-POWERED DASHBOARD TO ALLOW USERS TO EXPLORE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN DIFFERENT YOUTH SKILL INDICATORS' VARIABLES ACROSS 200+ U.S. CITIES OVER TIME. THE STATE OF U.S. CITIES AND YOUTH SKILLS, A DATA AND ANALYSIS REPORT ON THE TOP SKILLS-FRIENDLY U.S. CITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, BASED ON THE DATASET OF THE U.S. CENSUS, WAS RELEASED.
