OPERATION OF TWO PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOLS: APEX (ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE) ACADEMY AND MATRIX FOR SUCCESS ACADEMY. EACH SCHOOL IS A PLACE WEHRE CAREFUL PROGRAMMING AND ONE-ON-ONE CONFERENCES GIVE STUDENTS THE FLEXIBILITY THEY NEED TO REALIZE THEIR DREAMS. THE ORGANIZATION WORKS WITH VULNERABLE STUDENT POPULATIONS THROUGHOUT THE LOS ANGELES AREA WITH A GOAL TO INCREASE COLLEGE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEIR STUDENTS. APEX ACADEMY SERVES STUDENTS IN GRADES 7-12 THROUGH SITE-BASED INSTRUCTION. MATRIX FOR SUCCESS ACADEMY SERVES STUDENTS IN GRADES 10-12 THROUGH NONCLASSROOM-BASED INSTRUCTION.
