FARM TO COMMUNITY: STAFF DEVELOP AND DELIVER GOOD FOOD EDUCATION MATERIALS FOR COOKING CLASSES, DEMONSTRATIONS, AND COMMUNITY DINNERS ON-SITE. NOURISH PROVIDES EXPERIENTIAL PROGRAMMING FOR YOUTH, ADULT, AND FAMILY COOKING CLASSES INVOLVING OUR CULINARY AND FARM PROGRAMS.
FARM TO SCHOOL PROGRAMMING: 4K THROUGH 5TH GRADE PROGRAMMING DELIVERING EDUCATION BASED ON SEASONAL MONTHLY HARVESTS INCLUDING EXPERIENTIAL ACTIVITIES AND A SNACK COMPONENT. GOOD FOOD CLUB (GFC) AND EALY CARE AND EDUCATION (ECE) PROGRAMS INCLUDE HANDS-ON GARDEN EDUCATION, CULINARY EDUCATION, NUTRITION EDUCTION, AND CORE ACADEMIC TOPICS. NOURISH HAD APPROXIMATELY 6,000 ENGAGEMENTS INCLUDING APPROXIMATELY 750 EARY CARE EDUCATION ENGAGEMENTS IN THE 2021 CALENDAR YEAR AT SCHOOLS, YOUTH-SERVING AGENCIES, AND ON-SITE AT NOURISH.
NOURISH TOGETHER: NOURISH PROVIDED PROGRAMMING TO LOCAL ADULTS AT COMPANIES IN THE FORM OF CULINARY AND GARDEN EDUCATION AND WORKS ON EXPOSING PEOPLE TO MORE WHOLESOME FOOD CHOICES DURING MEALTIME.
