THE CONSERVANCY IS FOCUSED ON A NUMBER OF EFFORTS THAT WILL HELP ENHANCE THE PARK'S STATUS AS, IN THE WORDS OF ITS MAJOR DONOR NINA CULLINAN, A "PLACE OF BEAUTY AND PEACEFULNESS IN THE CITY." RECENT EFFORTS ENSURED FUNDS WERE RAISED FOR DEVELOPMENT OF TRAILS AND ADDITIONAL PARKING. 2021 WAS SPENT IN THE DESIGN PHASE OF THESE PROJECTS. FUNDRAISING EFFORTS FOR ADDITIONAL TRAILS AND ENHANCEMENTS ARE ONGOING. THE CONSERVANCY WORKS CLOSELY WITH THE CITY OF SUGAR LAND PARKS DEPARTMENT TO DEVELOP THE PLANS FOR THE PARK IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE UPDATED MASTER PLAN (2012).
