IT ALSO SERVES AS THE PARENT CORPORATION FOR AN INTEGRATED HEALTHCARE DELIVERY AND FINANCING NETWORK. OUR MISSION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: - FURTHER THE PHILOSOPHY AND MISSION OF ASCENSION HEALTH OF HEALING AND SERVICE TO THE SICK AND POOR, AND PROMOTE, SUPPORT AND ENGAGE IN ANY OF THE RELIGIOUS, CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC MINISTRIES ESTABLISHED BY ASCENSION HEALTH. - PROVIDE MEDICALLY NECESSARY SERVICES TO PATIENTS WHO ARE FINANCIALLY OR MEDICALLY INDIGENT REGARDLESS OF THE PERSON'S RACE, CREED, COLOR, RELIGION, SEX, NATIONAL ORIGIN, AGE OR ABILITY TO PAY.
