TO AID THE IMPOVERISHED PEOPLES OF INDIA. WE DO THIS BY PROVIDING ASSISTANCE IN EDUCATION, HEALTH CARE, VOCATIONAL TRAINING FOR MARGINALIZED PEOPLE, VETERINARY CARE AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT.

IN FEBRUARY/MARCH 2023, WE SENT A TEAM TO INDIA TO CONFER WITH OUR PARTNERS,INSPECT FUNDED PROJECTS, AND TO DEVELOP PLANS FOR THE FUTURE. WE INVESTED CONSIDERABLY IN EACH OF OUR MISSIONS. IN EDUCATION, WE INVESTED IN 35 NEW AND CONTINUING NURSING STUDENTS REACHING A TOTAL NUMBER OF STUDENTS SUPPORTED IN THE LAST DECADE TO NEARLY 100. IN MARCH, WE MET WITH 7 STUDENTS WHO RECENTLY GRADUATED AND ENCOURAGED THEM IN THIER NEW CAREERS. WE ALSO INVESTED IN ELEMENTARY AND HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION. IN HEALTHCARE, WE INVESTED HEAVILY IN OUR PARTNER HOSPITALS FOR NUMEROUS UPGRADES TO FACILITIES (AUTOCLAVE, COLONOSCOPYSCOPE,AND GENERAL HOSPITAL EXPENSES) AS WELL AS FUNDS FOR MENTAL HEALTHCARE PROJECTS AND A FUND FOR POOR PATIENTS WHO CANNOT AFFORD CARE. IN LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT WE FUNDED THE SEMINARY EDUCATION OF ONE OF OUR PARTNERS IN INDIA; ASSISTED BIBLICAL COUNSELING TRUST OF INDIA TO EXPAND THEIR REACH USING ZOOM RATHER THAN IN- PERSON TRAINING; TRAINED LEADERS IN A NEW AGRICULTURE PROJECT; PROVIDED FUNDS FOR PARTNERS TO TRAIN LEADERS IN IMPOVERISHED VILLAGES,AND INVESTED IN THE PHYSICAL PLANT OF OUR PARTNER TRAINING FACILITIES. FINALLY, IN OUR VETERINARY CARE OUTREACH WE INVESTED TO TRAIN VILLAGERS TO SAFELY CARE FOR THEIR ANIMALS AND PROVIDED MEDICINES TO BE ADMINISTERED BY TRAINED PARTNERS. WE ALSO INITIATED A NEW COLLABORATION WITH VETNET FOUNDATION THAT INVESTS IN THE HEALTH OF ANIMALS IN LOCAL IMPOVERISHED COMMUNITIES.
