IS ESTABLISHED TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE THE REPONSIBLE OWNERSHIP OF GOLDEN RETRIEVERS; TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE THE QUALITY BREEDING OF PURE-BRED GOLDEN RETRIEVERS AND TO DO ALL POSSIBLE TO BRING THEIR NATURAL QUALITIES TO PERFECTION; TO PROTECT AND ADVANCE THE INTERESTS OF THE BREED BY ENCOURAGING SPORTSMANSLIKE COMPETITION AT DOE SHOWS, OBEDIENCE TRIALS, AND FIELD TRIALS; TO CONDUCT SANCTIONED AND LICENSED SPECIALTY SHOWS, OBEDIENCE TRIALS, FIELD TRIALS, AND AGILITY TRIALS UNDER THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB.

AGILITY TRIALS EVENTS - THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORED THREE (3) AGILITY TRIALS EVENTS PURSUANT TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB. THE DOGS ARE JUDGED ON OVERALL AGILITY, SPEED AND FORM WHILE MANEUVERING AND JUMPING OBSTACLES WITHIN A RING.
CONFORMATION SPECIALTY AND CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMATION ASSESSMENT TESTS (CCA) - THE ORGANIZATION HOSTS CONFORMATION SPECIALTY SHOWS FOR AKC REGISTERED GOLDEN RETRIEVERS IN WHICH CERTIFIED AKC JUDGES DETERMINE HOW A PARTICULAR DOG PERFORMS CERTAIN DUTIES AS COMPARED TO CONFORMING TO THE STANDARS FOR THE BREED. THE AKC CERTIFIED JUDGES AWARD A CERTICATE OF CONFORMATION ASSESSMENT (CCA) AS THE RESULT OF THE INDIVIDUAL DOG'S PERFOMANCE AGAINST THESE STANDARDS. AKC CERTIFIED JUDGES ARE COMPENSATED AT MARKET RATES FOR THEIR SERVICES IN AWARDING THESE CERTIFICATES. ORGANIZATION MEMBERS AND MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY ARE UTILIZED AS VOLUNTEERS FOR THESE EVENTS.
