THE ORGANIZATION IS THE PRIMARY COORDINATOR OF THE HISTORIC REHABILITATION OF THE HOTEL CHARITONE, A BUILDING ON THE CHARITON TOWN SQUARE INDIVIDUALLY LISTED ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES.


THE ORGANIZATION PURCHASED THE PALMER BUILDING ON THE CHARITON TOWN SQUARE IN 2018 AND TOOK THE STEPS NECESSARY TO PREVENT ITS COLLAPSE.


LUCAS COUNTY ARTS COUNCIL CONTRIBUTED THE CB&Q FREIGHT HOUSE AND RELATED PROPERTIES TO THE ORGANIZATION IN FEBRUARY 2020.
