THE MISSION OF CONNECT@6800 BELLAIRE IS TO USE THE POWER OF HEALTHY PARTNERSHIPS TO CREATE A DYNAMIC PLACE OF HOPE AND HEALTH IMPROVING THE LIVES OF ALL RESIDENTS THROUGH SELF-RELIANCE AND PARTNERSHIPS. A COMMUNITY CENTER WILL BE CONSTRUCTED AS THE NEIGHBORHOOD HUB AROUND WHICH A TRULY FAMILY-FRIENDLY, SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD WILL GROW. DURING 2015, THE FOUNDATION PAID FOR CONSULTANTS AND OPERATING EXPENSES RELATED TO THIS PROJECT. IN LATE 2015, CONNECT@6800 BELLAIRE RECEIVED RECOGNITION OF EXEMPT STATUS UNDER 501(C)(3) AND BEGAN CONDUCTING ACTIVITIES DIRECTLY.
