SUMMER PROGRAM PROVIDES SAFE, SUPERVISED PLACE FOR K-12TH GRADE STUDENTS. THIS PROGRAM WEAVES TOGETHER MULTIPLE ELEMENTS: BASIC NEEDS, EDUCATION, RECREATION, SPIRTUAL FORMATION/LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. 57 STUDENTS SERVED.
MATCHSTICK GOODS LAUNCHED IN 2019 AND EMPLOYS STUDENTS (3) AND GRADUATES (1). THE STUDENTS AND GRADUATES MAKE HANDMADE CERAMIC GOODS WHILE GIVING YOUNG PEOPLE A CREATIVE VOICE, BUSINESS EXPERIENCE AND THE ABILITY TO EARN A FAIR WAGE.
