ALTHOUGH TRAVEL WAS RESTRICTED, CONTACT WITH LEGISLATORS, MILITARY LEADERS, AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT LEADERS WAS REGULAR AND EFFECTIVE. 2. ATTENDED BRIEFINGS AT FRC EAST TO COVER EXPANDED WORK LOAD OPPORTUNITIES AND NAVAL TECHBRIDGE PROGRESS.3. SUCCESSFULLY ADVOCATED FOR EXPANDED PROJECTS FOR HURRICANE FLORENCE FUNDS. DESPITE ATTEMPTS BY OTHERS, APPROXIMATELY $120 MILLION WAS SECURED FOR NEW FITNESS CENTER AND SLOCUM GATE ENTRANCE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS. 4. ADVOCATED FOR NEW MILITARY CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ARE MCAS CHERRY POINT TO SUPPORT THE NEW F-35 SQUADRONS, INCLUDING HANGARS, SUPPORT FACILITIES, AND A NEW AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL TOWER.5. ADVOCATED FOR RESPONSIBLE REGULATION OF INDUSTRIAL WIND TURBINE DEVELOPMENTS IN LOCATIONS THAT WOULD NOT INTERFERE WITH MARINE AVIATION TRAINING.6. ADVOCATED FOR AN INCREASE IN CONSTRUCTION FUNDS FOR ESSENTIAL FLIGHT LINE AND FRC EAST IMPROVEMENTS. OUR TOP PRIORITIES WERE INCLUDED IN THE FY22NDAA. 7.
