THE MISSION OF GREEN MOUNTAIN PERFORMING ARTS (GMPA) IS TO ENHANCE COMMUNITY CULTURAL VITALITY BY PROVIDING FULLY ACCESSIBLE DANCE, THEATRE AND MUSIC EDUCATION IN A CREATIVE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT TO PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, WITH A FOCUS ON CHILDREN AND YOUTH.

WEEKLY PERFORMING ARTS CLASSES FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH, AND ADULT FITNESS CLASSES. OUR STUDENTS ARE LARGELY DRAWN FROM RURAL COMMUNITIES AND SMALL TOWNS IN CENTRAL VERMONT (POPULATIONS UNDER 5,000). GMPA'S POPULAR, PROVEN SYLLABUS BUILDS A STRONG FOUNDATION IN DANCE AND MOVEMENT, TAUGHT IN A JOYFUL, CREATIVE ENVIRONMENT, WITH MANY POINTS OF ACCESS INTO THE LARGER COMMUNITY.
