BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - APEG, DBA OHIO SOUTHEAST, SERVES AS THE JOBSOHIO REGIONAL PARTNER IN EASTERN AND SOUTHERN OHIO. SINCE 2011, OHIO SOUTHEAST IS THE SINGLE POINT OF ENTRY INTO 25 OF THE 32 APPALACHIAN OHIO COUNTIES FOR JOBSOHIO. THE PURPOSE IS TO DRIVE JOB CREATION AND NEW CAPITAL INVESTMENT IN OHIO THROUGH BUSINESS ATTRACTION, RETENTION, AND EXPANSION EFFORTS.
INDUSTRY CLUSTER IMPROVEMENT - IN 2019, APPALACHIAN PARTNERSHIP INC. COMPLETED YEAR 4 OF A 5 YEAR RENEWABLE SBA REGIONAL INNOCATION CLUSTER (RIC) CONTRACT AND BEGAN YEAR 5. IMPLEMENTATIONS AND PROGRAM METRICS FOR YEAR 4 ENDED 9/17/2019 INCLUDE, IMPLEMENTATION OF DATABASE FOR SUPPLY CHAIN AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO COMPANIES IN THE WOOD INDUSTRY CLUSTERS.
