BALTIMORE LAB SCHOOL'S PRIMARY PROGRAM IS A SPECIALIZED EDUCATION INTENDED FOR STUDENTS WITH DIFFERENT LEARNING NEEDS. THE SCHOOL IS EQUIPPED WITH A HIGHLY TRAINED STAFF TO FACILITATE AN EDUCATION TO STUDENTS WITH VARIOUS LEARNING DISABILITIES AND ATTENTION DEFICITS. THE SCHOOL FOSTERS AN ART-BASED, HANDS-ON, METHODOLOGY TO HELP STUDENTS SUCCEED IN THEIR EDUCATION AND EVERYDAY LIFE. CLASSES ARE ALSO INDIVIDUALIZED TO MEET EACH STUDENT'S LEARNING NEEDS WHILE ADHERING TO THE STANDARDS GIVEN BY THE STATE.
BALTIMORE LAB SCHOOL HAS RELATED SERVICE DEPARTMENTS DEDICATED TO HELPING STUDENTS WITH SPECIFIC NEED AREAS SUCH AS SPEECH, COGNITION, AND MOBILITY. THE THREE RELATED SERVICE DEPARTMENTS INCLUDE SPEECH AND LANGUAGE, PSYCHOLOGY/COUNSELING, AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY. EACH DEPARTMENT ALLOWS STUDENTS TO BENEFIT FROM ONE-ON-ONE AND SMALL GROUP THERAPY TO HELP THEM WITH THEIR PARTICULAR NEEDS.
