LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES: IN 2021, IWLC HELD THREE PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES: CEDAR RAPIDS,QUAD CITIES, AND DES MOINES. THESE CONFERENCES FEATURED INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN SPEAKERS, WORKSHOPS, NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, AND ACCESS TO WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP RESOURCES. AS A PART OF THIS PROGRAMMING, IWLC MAINTAINS A SCHOLARSHIP FUND WHICH HELPS TO KEEP EVENTS ACCESSIBLE TO AS MANY WOMEN AS POSSIBLE. THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND COVERS THE COST OF EVENT REGISTRATION AND IS DESIGNATED FOR STUDENTS, MINORITIES, SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS, NONPROFIT STAFF, THE UNEMPLOYED, AND/OR OTHER WOMEN EXPERIENCING FINANCIAL NEED OR HARDSHIP. IN 2021 IWLC AWARDED 15 FULL SCHOLARSHIPS TO INDIVIDUALS VALUED AT 300-500 EACH AND AWARDED 10 STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS TO INDIVIDUALS VALUED AT 99 EACH. THESE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE A REDUCTION IN THE FEES FOR THE SERVICES THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN PAID TO IWLC AND AS SUCH ARE NOT RECORDED ON THE FORM 990.
ASCENT LEADERSHIP PROGRAM IS A VIRTUAL PROGRAM FOR MID LEVEL LEADERS. IWLC HOSTS WITH CONJUNCTION LEADERSHIP RESOURCES AND USED A COST-SHARE MODEL.
