REACHING OUR SISTERS EVERYWHERE WILL PROVIDE FREE TRAINING AT COMMUNITY CENTERS AND CHURCHES TO TRAIN HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS AND COMMUNITY WORKERS TO MANAGE BREASTFEEDING AND HOW TO RELATE TO AND SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE BREASTFEEDING IN THE AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY. ROSE ALSO PROVIDES TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES TO ENHANCE STEPS 3 AND 10 OF THE BABY FRIENDLY HOSPITAL INITIATIVE, ADDRESSING PRENATAL AND POSTPARTUM SUPPORT SERVICES NEEDED AT THE TIME OF DISCHARGE.
