DURING THE 2023 FISCAL YEAR AND TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY WE WERE ABLE TO CONTINUE UN MONITORING IN OUR AREAS OF PROGRAM FOCUS AS WELL AS WORK WITH PARTNERS IN THE FIELD NEEDING GUIDANCE ON HOW TO ACCESS UN AND ITS CORE PROCESSES ON GENDER, DISARMAMENT, PEACEKEEPING, GENOCIDE PREVENTION AND RELATED MATTERS. WE WERE ALSO ABLE TO HOST INTERNS AND OTHER PROFESSIONAL GUESTS ON A REGULAR BASIS. WE CONTINUED TO PUBLISH OUR OWN ESSAYS AND CONTRIBUTE TO OTHER PUBLICATIONS FOCUSED ON THE UN AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO AFRICAN PEACE AND SECURITY. WE MADE PRESENTATIONS ON PEACEBUILDING IN US BUSINESS SCHOOLS, IN COVENTRY, UK AND AT OTHER INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE SITES. WE PROVIDED FREE CONSULTING TO GROUPS WORKING ON CRIMINAL JUSTICE ISSUES AND ON ASSISTING PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN THE CONTEXT OF THE UKRAINE WAR. WE CONTRIBUTED OUR MANAGEMENT EXPERTISE TO GROUPS WORKING ON WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT AND ON ENVIRONMENTAL MAPPING.
