PATIENT AID PROGRAM: THE HEART OF BUMBLEBEE - OUR PATIENT AID PROGRAM IS OUR LARGEST OF 6 PROGRAMS THAT GIVES MUCH NEEDED ASSISTANCE TO PEDIATRIC CANCER FAMILIES. A TOTAL OF 206 FAMILIES RECEIVED DIRECT FINANCIAL AID IN 2021. ADDITIONALLY, FAMILIES FIGHTING RELAPSED LEUKEMIA AND RELAPSED NEUROBLASTOMA RECEIVE DIRECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE VIA THIS PROGRAM.
HOLIDAY BEES PROGRAM: EVERY HOLIDAY SEASON BUMBLEBEE FOUNDATION SPREADS CHEER TO PEDIATRIC CANCER FAMILIES BY SHOPPING, WRAPPING, AND DELIVERING GIFTS TO FAMILIES. BUMBLEBEE FOUNDATION ADOPTED 25 FAMILES DURING THE 2021 HOLIDAY SEASON AND GAVE ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL BLESSINGS TO 9 FAMILIES. THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF ASSISTANCE GIVEN WAS $37,630.76.
SPRING BASKET PROGRAM AND BEEDAY PROGRAM: OUR SPRING BASKETS PROVIDE PERSONALIZED BASKETS, AND GIFT CARDS. 14 FAMILIES WERE ADOPTED THROUGH THIS PROGRAM IN 2021, WITH $7,118.62 GIVEN IN ASSISTANCE. BIRTHDAY CARDS ALONG WITH GIFT CARDS WERE PROVIDED TO 140 BUMBLEBEE KIDDOS FOR A TOTAL OF $2,704 DISTRIBUTED IN 2021.
