PATIENT AID PROGRAM: THE HEART OF BUMBLEBEE - OUR PATIENT AID PROGRAM IS OUR LARGESTOF 6 PROGRAMS THAT GIVES MUCH NEEDED ASSISTANCE TO PEDIATRIC CANCER FAMILIES. A TOTAL OF 271 FAMILIES RECEIVED DIRECT FINANCIAL AID IN 2023. ADDITIONALLY, FAMILIESFIGHTING RELAPSED LEUKEMIA, NEUROBLASTOMA AND BRAIN CANCER RECEIVED DIRECT FINANCIALASSISTANCE VIA THIS PROGRAM.
SPRING BASKET PROGRAM AND BEEDAY PROGRAM: OUR SPRING BASKETS PROVIDE PERSONALIZED BASKETS AND GIFT CARDS. 15 FAMILIES (37 CHILDREN) WERE ADOPTED THROUGH THIS PROGRAM IN 2023, WITH $50 ALLOTED FOR EACH CHILD AND GIFT CARDS FOR THEIR PARENTS. OUR BEEDAY PROGRAM PROVIDED HANDWRITTEN BIRTHDAY CARDS WITH GIFT CARDS TO 260 BUMBLEBEE KIDDOS.
HOLIDAY BEES PROGRAM: EVERY HOLIDAY SEASON BUMBLEBEE FOUNDATION SPREADS CHEER TO PEDIATRIC CANCER FAMILIES BY SHOPPING, WRAPPING, AND DELIVERING GIFTS TO FAMILIES. BUMBLEBEE FOUNDATION ADOPTED 18 LOCAL (CONEJO VALLEY, CA AND TREASURE VALLEY, ID) FAMILES DURING THE 2023 HOLIDAY SEASON. SIBLINGS ARE ALWAYS INCLUDED; 38 CHILDREN RECEIVED GIFTS FROM THEIR WISH LISTS WHILE PARENTS RECEIVED GIFT CARDS TO HELP WITH GAS AND GROCERIES.
