WE USE A WHOLE-CHILD, FAITH-BASED, HIGH- QUALITY, TUITION FREE APPROACH THAT PREPARES STUDENTS FOR LIFELONG SUCCESS AND STRENGTHENS THE COMMUNITIES TO WHICH THEY BELONG. WE ADMIT CHILDREN OF DIVERSE FAITHS, RACES, CULTURES, AND COGNITIVE PROFILES, BELIEVING IN THE EPISCOPAL TRADITION THAT WE FIND GOD IN AND THROUGH EACH OTHER. IN CLOSE PARTNERSHIP WITH FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS, WE ARE AN INNOVATIVE LEARNING COMMUNITY. WE OFFER STRUCTURED SUPPORT TO ENABLE CHILDREN TO DISCOVER AND DEVELOP THEIR ACADEMIC, PHYSICAL, SPIRITUAL AND CREATIVE GIFTS. ST. JAMES SCHOOL IS MUCH MORE THAN A SCHOOL. WE ARE ROOTED IN OUR COMMUNITY AND SERVE OUR NEIGHBORHOOD SO THAT OUR STUDENTS, GRADUATES, AND FAMILIES CAN BE LIFTED OUT OF POVERTY. OUR CAMPUS FUNCTIONS AS A LOCAL HUB FOR RESOURCES AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES, AND WE WORK TO MEET NEIGHBORHOOD NEEDS AND CONCERNS. IN FEBRUARY OF 2019, WE ADDED A NEW FACILITY TO OUR CAMPUS TO BETTER SUPPORT THE BROADER COMMUNITY BEYOND OUR SCHOOL, CALLED "THE WELCOME TABLE." AS AN ON-SITE COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER, WE PROVIDE FOOD, CLOTHING, PRO-BONO LEGAL AID, HOME REPAIR ASSISTANCE, COUNSELING, ADULT EDUCATION AND OTHER SERVICES.
