THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE RELIEF FROM PAIN AND SUFFERING FOR PEOPLE WITH ACUTE INJURY OR ILLNESS AND TO IMPROVE THE INDEPENDENCE, SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND MOBILITY OF PEOPLE WITH CHRONIC ILLNESSES BY COLLECTING, REFURBISHING, SANITIZING AND DISTRIBUTING USED DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO RESIDENTS OF DALLAS COUNTY, TEXAS WHO CANNOT AFFORD TO PURCHASE OR RENT THE EQUIPMENT.

DME EXCHANGE OF DALLAS, INC. ACCEPTS PREVIOUSLY OWNED DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND REFURBISHES, REPAIRS AND SANITIZES THESE ITEMS. ONCE THE EQUIPMENT IS READY FOR USE, DME DISTRIBUTES IT TO QUALIFIED, LOW-INCOME PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES LIVING IN DALLAS COUNTY. DME DALLAS PROVIDES MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO ELIGIBLE INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE RECOVERING FROM AN ACCIDENT OR ILLNESS, OR SUFFER CHRONIC, PROGRESSIVE, AND/OR DEBILITATING CONDITIONS AND/OR AGING. THE EQUIPMENT ALLOWS SUCH AN INDIVIDUAL TO RECOVER SAFELY AT HOME BY ENHANCING MOBILITY AND INDEPENDENCE. IN 2021, DME DISTRIBUTED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT (662) TO 558 INDIVIDUALS IN DALLAS COUNTY.
