THE ASSOCIATION AIDED YOUTH IN BORDEN COUNTY, TEXAS, WITH THE COSTS OF PURCHASING AND MAINTAINING LIVESTOCK FOR THE PURPOSE OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING. THE YOUTH ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WELL BEING OF THEIR ANIMALS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FEEDING, EXERCISING, GROOMING, ETC. FOR THE PURPOSE OF PRESENTING THEIR LIVESTOCK IN A LIVESTOCK SHOW. MONEY IS AWARDED BY THE ORGANIZATION BASED ON FUNDS AVAILABLE AS DONATED BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND OTHER FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES AND IS DISTRUBUTED GENERALLY ACCORDING TO THE PERFORMANCE IN THE SHOW.
