THE MISSION OF PEOPLE TO PEOPLE INTERNATIONAL IS TO ENHANCE INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING. TO PROMOTE FRIENDSHIP THROUGH EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL, AND HUMANITARIAN ACTIVITIES INVOLVING THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AND EXPERIENCES DIRECTLY AMONG PEOPLES OF DIFFERENT COUNTRIES AND DIVERSE CULTURES. PTPI IS DEDICATED TO ENHANCING CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION AMONG ALL PEOPLES.

TRAVEL AND EXPERIENCES - INCLUDES IMMERSIVE TRAVEL PROGRAMS. THE TRAVEL AND EXPERIENCES ARE AT THE VERY HEART OF PTPI AND ARE OFFERED IN MULTIPLE AVENUES: STUDENT AND ADULT TRAVEL ORGANIZED BY OUR TRAVEL PARTNERS ECE AND PTPIWHQ RESPECTIVELY. PARTICIPANTS ARE ABLE TO LEARN AND EXPERIENCE OTHER CULTURES AS WELL AS INTERACT WITH PEOPLE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES. IN 2020, ECE HAD TRAVEL IMPACTED BY THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC BUT RETAINED THE BUSINESS OF 170 TRAVELERS THAT TRANSFERRED TO 2021 TRAVEL YEAR. PTPI WHQ DID THIS SAME FOR 24 MEMBERS. THESE TRAVEL PROGRAMS ALLOW DELEGATES TO PARTAKE IN NUMEROUS HUMANITARIAN ACTIVITIES AND VISIT THE SITES OF CULTURAL RELEVANCE TO THE HOST COUNTRY.
MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM IS A VOLUNTARY MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM WHERE PEOPLE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED A PTPI PROGRAM THROUGH THE VARIOUS OPPORTUNITIES FOR ENGAGEMENT THROUGH THE ORGANIZATION HAVE DECIDED THEY WOULD LIKE TO BECOME MEMBERS, STAY CONNECTED AND SUPPORT THE MISSION OF PTPI. PTPI ALSO OFFERS A ONE YEAR COMPLIMENTARY MEMBERSHIP TO DELEGATES WHO HAVE TRAVELED ON PTPI WORLD HQ PLANNED DELEGATION WITH OUR CONTRACTED TRAVEL PROVIDER, ECE. PTPI OFFERS TWO CLASSIFICATIONS OF MEMBERSHIP, AT LARGE MEMBERSHIP AND CHAPTER MEMBER. AT LARGE MEMBERSHIP AND CHAPTERS PROVIDE MEMBERSHIP PAYMENTS TO PTPIWHQ DEPENDING ON THEIR SIZE AND STRUCTURES. IN 2020, PTPI HAD A COMBINED 312 COMMUNITY AND UNIVERSITY CHAPTERS IN 78 COUNTRIES FOR A TOTAL OF 3,400 MEMBERS.
