THE SHARE THE HARVEST PROGRAM ADMINISTERS THE PROCESSING PAYBACK PROGRAM- A DIVISION OF SHARE THE HARVEST. HUNTERS DONATE THE PROCESSED DEER THEY HAVE HARVESTED TO THE PROGRAM. THE MEAT IS IN TURN PROVIDED TO FOOD PANTRY CLIENTS IN NEED OF A DEPENDABLE SOURCE OF PROTEIN. THE SHARE THE HARVEST PROGRAM PROMOTES RESPONSIBLE USE OF MISSOURI'S NATURAL RESOURCES. THE "CONSERVATION FEDERATION" MAGAZINE IS USED TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND UPDATE MEMBERS REGARDING CONSERVATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES. NATIONAL ARCHERY IN THE SCHOOLS PROGRAM - THE PROGRAM PROMOTES STUDENT EDUCATION AND PARTICIPATION IN ORDER TO STRENGTHEN PUBLIC FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR WILDLIFE CONSERVATION AS WELL AS TO ENGAGE MORE STUDENTS IN THE EDUCATION PROCESS. GOVERNOR'S YOUTH HUNT - EMPHASIZE AND CELEBRATE MISSOURI'S LEADERSHIP ROLE IN HUNTER RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION. SCHOLARSHIPS SUPPORT CONTINUING EDUCATION IN THE FIELD OF CONSERVATION. CONSERVATION LEADERSHIP CORP - A MULTIYEAR PROGRAM THAT ENGAGES HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS IN THE POLITICS OF CONSERVATION. THE GOAL OF THE PROGRAM IS TO PREPARE PARTICIPANTS TO PERSONALLY INFLUENCE POLICY AND ACTIONS THAT WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE CONSERVATION OF MISSOURI'S NATURAL RESOURCES.
AN ANNUAL CONVENTION IS HELD TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS RELATING TO CONSERVATION AND THE ENVIRONMENT. THE ANNUAL CONVENTION BRINGS MEMBERS TOGETHER TO PARTICIPATE IN COMMITTEE MEETINGS AND TO DISCUSS THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS IN THE FIELD OF CONSERVATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES.
