WOMEN'S ANOTHER CHANCE SCHOLARSHIPS, ESTABLISHED IN 1990, ARE AWARDED TO SINGLE MOTHERS OVER THE AGE OF 24, WHO HAVE A SINCERE DESIRE TO IMPROVE THEIR STATUS IN LIFE.THE ZONTA CLUB OF ST LOUIS ASSIGNS A MENTOR & SUPERVISES THE STUDENT'S PROGRESS IN THE PROGRAM. THIS HAS ENABLED MANY WOMEN TO RECEIVE DEGREES IN NURSING, EDUCATION, BUSINESS AND THE ARTS.
OUR COMMUNITY GRANTS AND PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM PROVIDES GRANTS TO LOCAL 501(C)3 ORGANIZATIONS THAT SERVE WOMEN & CHILDREN, ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OR TRAFFICKING, AND WOMEN IN TRANSITION.WE ALSO SUPPORT HANDS ON COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS.
STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES HAVE RECEIVED THE SHARON CARMODY AWARD FOR UNDER GRADUATE AS WELL AS GRADUATE LEVEL EDUCATION.
