PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS TO QUALIFIED ACTIVE EDUCATION EMPLOYEES OF THE ST. LOUIS CITY PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM. NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS/GRANTS = 311. THIS PROGRAM BENEFITS THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE BY ATTRACTING AND RETAINING EMPLOYEES TO PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM, AS WELL AS BY IMPROVING THE JOB RELATED SKILLS OF THESE EMPLOYEES.


PROVIDE GRANTS TO THE ST. LOUIS CITY PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM. NUMBER OF GRANTS = 9. THE SPECIAL GRANTS AID IN RECRUITING AND TRAINING EMPLOYEES IN HIGH NEED AREAS SUCH AS MATH AND SCIENCE. EDUCATORS CAN ATTAIN CERTIFICATION, WHICH IMPROVES THE JOB RELATED SKILLS OF THESE EMPLOYEES.
